Ping Identity

OnBase is integrated with Ping Identity for Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication.

What is Ping Identity?

Ping Identity is a comprehensive suite of identity services, including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, access security, directory, data governance and API cybersecurity. OIT has an enterprise license for Ping Identity, which is the state's standard offering for single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

What is single sign-on (SSO)?

Single sign-on is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID and password to any of several related, yet independent, software systems.

Why Ping Identity?

Ping Identity provides an extra layer of data security for our OnBase customers. By limiting system access to users who are able to provide multiple artifacts for identification, we aim to reduce the likelihood of unauthorized access and provide demonstrated compliance to federal and industry mandates.

Where will I see Ping Identity?

As of OnBase version EP3, Ping Identity is now integrated with both the OnBase Web and Unity clients. When accessing OnBase through either client, you will be seamlessly directed to the Ping Identity login screen.
